The talk of the kingdom
This lady so fair
With golden brown locks
Of long flowing hair.
Though only a court jester
My life had been fun
When into my court
Came a kingdom of one.
Majectic and regal,
So delicate so refined
I blinked and I blinked
What a find, what a find.
So short be one's youth
So long the decline
Only love's mighty power
Makes the moments sublime.
As I gaze at my maiden
One eye to one other
I cannot believe
There will be another.
I will never waver
I will never weaken
She lights me and guides me
In the land of just-think-it.
